OxaPay offers 2-step verification, known also as 2-factor (2FA) or multifactor authentication, as an added security layer in addition to your username and password.

- Secure Your Account

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. To log in, in addition, you'll need to provide a 6-digit code

This is the most secure 2-step verification method as this requires possession of a physical device; an attacker would have to gain physical access to your 2-step verification key and access to your digital information.

-These are apps that generate a one-time code based on both of these factors:

- The current date and time on your phone and

- A secret key is known only to you and OxaPay.

OxaPay shows you a QR code, which represents the secret key, which you'll then need to scan using an Authenticator app on your phone.

You can download Google Authenticator or Duo from the app store.

Also, it's necessary to have two-factor in OxaPay:
 -Send assets

When users want to send their assets to another address

-Payout API

For enhanced security, it is required to enable Two-Factor Authentication to generate a payout API key.
